Kolkata, Monday, December 17, 2012 – At the second regional round of TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge held at Kolkata, the winning team Mcleod Russel made a clean sweep and entered the National Finals to be held in April 2013. They were followed by the runners-up team – G.S. Atwal & Co.
This one-day round was held at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) on December 15, 2012. The next regional qualifier round has been scheduled on 5th and 6th of January 2013 at Amby Valley Golf Course, Lonavla, Pune.
The green pastures of Royal Calcutta Golf Club witnessed one of the most graceful and well-thought-out game by Asian Games Gold Medalist & Arjuna Awardee Lakshman Singh and Aditya Khaitan from the winning team-Mcleod Russel. They were joined by the runners-up team G.S. Atwal & Co. comprising of Indian star golfer Arjun Atwal’s brother Govind Atwal & Gaurav Ghosh for the spot in the National Finals.

The other regional rounds are scheduled at Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi followed by the National Finals. The grand finale event – World finals will be held in Scotland in the month of May, 2013.
