New Appointments Aim To Accelerate Growth In North America
Princeton, NJ - May 9, 2011 - TAKE Solutions Inc., a global business technology solutions and services company (BSE: 532890), today announced it has strengthened its leadership team with the addition of two new executives to expand its footprint and meet customer demand in North America. Added to the team are Matt Walker, EVP, Supply Chain and Mike Lewis, VP, Sales.
'Both executives bring deep knowledge and extensive leadership and sales experience to the team that will help accelerate TAKE's growth and expansion in North America," said Kishore Rachapudi, president and COO, TAKE Solutions. "We are experiencing a surge in customer interest across both Supply Chain and Life Sciences areas of our business, and are encouraged with the development of our pipeline."
Mr. Walker has built an 18-year leadership career in both functional roles and multiple cross-functional general management capacities in Supply Chain and Life Sciences. Most recently, he managed the business development and marketing functions for ResearchPoint, a contract research organization in the life sciences industry. Prior to ResearchPoint, he spent five years with Hart InterCivic, serving as the Senior VP and General Manager for a division that provided enterprise-class software to local government clients. Mr. Walker began his career in professional services at Deloitte Consulting and Price Waterhouse, primarily managing large business process improvement and systems implementation projects. He holds a Master's of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stanford University
Mr. Lewis brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience in technology and Life Sciences. Prior to joining TAKE Solutions, he served as the Life Sciences Solution Leader at IBM, managing a team responsible for selling solutions targeted at Healthcare & Life Sciences companies. Additionally, his team developed, successfully launched and sold offerings in the areas of regulatory management, promotional spends management, sales and marketing, manufacturing and R&D, generating over $100 million in services in 2010. Prior to IBM, Mike has held various Senior Sales Management roles at Documentum, TIBCO and MuleSoft covering global territories and a wide range of technology solutions, including enterprise content management, business process management, enterprise service business, and complex event processing. In his new role, Mr. Lewis will lead the life sciences and enterprise business sales unit of the company.
