Director, TAKE Solutions

Srinivasan H.R., fondly known as Sri, is the Director of TAKE Solutions and a member of its Board of Directors. He brings 28 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and General Management.

Sri started his career as a Civil Servant in the Government of India. Post that, he successfully held several leadership roles including Executive Director of the Shriram Group, Managing Director of Sembcorp Logistics, Singapore, Managing Director of Temasek Capital, Singapore among others. He has served both on the State and Regional Councils of the Confederation of Indian Industry. He has also served as the Past President of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), Chennai Chapter. In 2008, Sri was conferred with the CII Connect – “Entrepreneur of the Year” and the CII Tamil Nadu “Emerging Entrepreneur” award in 2010. He is a member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organisation).

Shobana N S

Executive Director

Currently an Executive Director, Chief of Staff and Chief Risk Officer at TAKE Solutions Ltd. Shobana is part of TAKE’s founding team, significantly contributing to its growth journey enhancing shareholder value from early-stage business set-up, enabling rapid organic & inorganic growth, strategic turnarounds, and businesses right sizing holding strategic and operating roles in various capacities.

Prior to becoming an ED, Shobana was the Group CFO, a key participant in the company’s IPO and subsequently till 2017 when she took the role of Chief of Staff to the Managing Director. Earlier to IPO, She held a business role for 5 years between establishing TAKE Malaysia, growing it and leading it into a successful JV. Before founding TAKE Solutions, she was with Sembcorp Logistics Pvt Ltd as Manager-Commercial.

Her areas of strength are Strategy formulation & execution, M&A and PMI, Corporate Planning & Finance, Policy & process design & deployment, Risk Management, Corporate Governance with a strong alignment to business operations.

Shobana is by qualification a Finance professional, a CA, CMA from India and CPA from USA.

C Gowri Shankar

Director

Mr. Gowri Shankar is a Chemical engineer from the Madras University, with a Post-graduation in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Mr. Chella Gowri Shankar, (age 65 years) is a technocrat who has held leadership positions in agro based Process Industries, and Information technology. Commencing his career in 1980, Gowri Shankar has worked with a range of process industries covering Oils & Fats Refining, Solvent Extraction, Soaps & Detergents, Oleo Chemicals, Flavors & Fragrances and Nutraceuticals, in a span of 22 years in the process industry.

He has had useful stints in ITC Agro Tech and Kantor Flavors and Extracts limited, prior to joining TAKE Solutions as a domain expert on Manufacturing. In early 2002 he joined TAKE Solutions Limited as the domain expert in manufacturing, while fulfilling the responsibility of Chief Operations Officer. He subsequently moved on to head business development spearheading the expansion of the company’s branches in Southeast Asia and Middle East. He was earlier part of the senior Management team.

Mr. Gowri Shankar is currently a free-lance technology and business consultant for Agri based startups, in addition to consulting for TAKE Solutions. He also serves as a mentor for a couple of start-ups in the Health Care and Organic foods business.

Rangasami Seshadri

Director

Mr. R. Seshadri is currently Director of Quick2Shelf Food Solutions Private Limited. Quick2Shelf operates in the food and allied vertical offering distribution solutions for various corporates.

Mr. Seshadri has been associated with the Shriram Group of Companies for over 3 decades. He was, for a decade the Executive Director of Software company a niche software firm specializing in supply chain and healthcare verticals. Prior to that, he headed the operations of SembCorp Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. His work experience also includes stints with State Bank of India, Sothern Roadways Limited and Detergents India Limited.

He has been a Board Member in different private limited companies for a total period spanning over 10 years. He has also been a part of the senior management handling both line and staff functions for over three decades, particularly profit centre responsibilities, accounting and finance function and legal and secretarial responsibilities. His industry exposure is wide, covering logistics, manufacturing, IT and Distribution Services.

Mr. Seshadri is a qualified Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary and holds associate membership in both the Institutes. He is a Graduate of Commerce from the Madras University.

Apart from being a faculty in the CS Institute, he is also a faculty at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Indian Institute of Materials Management.

G Ramesh

Director

Mr. Ramesh Gopal holds a master’s in commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Materials Management. Commencing his career in 1986, he has held various positions across different companies including IndChem Electronics Chennai, HCL Limited, Compin Dubai, Pepsi Chennai, Inchcape Oman (Matrah Cold Stores), Sembcorp Logistics P. Ltd Chennai, prior to joining TAKE Solutions Limited as Vice President.

In his 29 years of experience in the Logistics industry, he has been a part of designing logistics solutions, developing operating procedures, quality in operations, relationship development, development of SCM Models, Capital Plans, logistics functions, production planning and development of KPI & SOP, before joining TAKE Solutions Limited in 2000. For 15 years, he was associated with TAKE Solutions Limited as the Vice President, heading the SCM business in India and overseas in Asia Pacific, Middle East and US along with management of joint venture partners.

Mr. Ramesh Gopal was the Winner of Pepsi Award in 1994 and the Team Member of Country Award in 1997.

Nagarajan Chandrasekaran

Director

Mr. Chandrasekaran N, an alumnus of IFMR, Chennai, was conferred Ph.D. in Economics – Financial Management, University of Madras. He is a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional by APICS – American Association of Operations Management, USA.

Mr. Chandrasekaran has been part of the leadership team setting up Centres of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has over twenty-seven years of experience with corporate in India. He has worked for companies in industries including Information Technology, Venture Capital, Industry body, and Knowledge Processing. His work areas are strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Human Resources, Leadership Development, and Investor Relationship management.

He has served as an Independent Director in a few firms in the business of supply chain solutions, distribution management, and healthcare solutions.

His consulting, research, corporate training, and teaching experience have been in Supply Chain Management, Operations Strategy, Logistics Infrastructure and Management, Service Operations, Strategy, and Analytics.

He has authored books individually and jointly, published by leading publishing houses like Oxford University Press of India, Taylor and Francis (USA), and Cengage Publications. He has published his own two titles, Incredible Champions Vol I and II, on leadership in the development sector; and authored for the industry association on Gender Parity. He has also published articles in journals of repute and research and industry forums.

Kiran Sharma

Ms. Kiran Sharma is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She has a rich professional experience of more than 25 years in Corporate Laws and allied sectors. She is also the Proprietor of Kiran Sharma & Co., Company Secretaries, providing corporate laws related services to Indian and Multinational Companies.

She has been providing services to renowned Manufacturing, Trading and Consulting Companies including Listed Companies. Before starting her own practice in 1999, Ms. Kiran Sharma had served in a Manufacturing and an NBFC Company. Her area of expertise includes Corporate Laws, SEBI Laws, FEMA and liaison with various offices of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, SEBI, NCLT etc.

Ms. Kiran Sharma is a Director on the Board of various Prestigious companies of Max India Group, Dion Global Limited and Fortis Group. She is also a member of Internal Complaint Committee of Mitutoyo South Asia Private Limited and Affle (India) Limited.
